how hungry are you?
4 strips of all natural bacon (if you can get it)
1 package cremini mushrooms
one red onion
Chop the ends off the Brussels sprouts if there are stems, cut them in half and par boil for a couple of minutes. When the water reaches the boil point, put the bacon in a frying pan, and start cooking that. Chop the mushrooms and the onions. When the sprouts have boiled for 2 or 3 minutes, toss them in the pan with the bacon, and add the mushrooms and onions. Stir it all around in the nice bacon fat until all the vegetables are at the desired tenderness. I like to have a bit of crunch still to the sprouts.
