Are you worth it?

Have you ever said to yourself "I would love to do___but I just can't afford it right now"? or something like "I wish I was in better shape, but I just don't know how"?  Or have you ever wondered what your life is going to be like after you retire? What are your last years going to be like?

Is it worth it to you to find these answers? Have you ever really invested in Yourself?

I've recently made (another) investment in myself and signed up for a group coaching programme. Yes! Health coaches need coaches too! We're human! My first investment was to sign up for the Institute for Integrative Nutrition health coach training programme, which, as you know, I completed last April. I am now doing the second half of the programme, a one year session called "Immersion". So I'm rather busy with doing assignments for both Immersion, and participating with the group coaching.  It's great though, I love learning new things, I love being busy, and I love meeting new people.

The group coaching thing came to me at a perfect time. I was hemming and hawing about signing up for the Primal health coaching programme, which is next on my list of certifications, but I will have to save a few more $$ before I can do that one. I am working toward saving the money so that I am able to do it. But then I saw the sign up for the group coaching, and honestly, could not pass it up. I AM WORTH IT. I love the coach, she's amazing, and she's also one of the guest teachers at IIN. The money was a chunk of change out of my savings, but any investment in myself will eventually pay me back. I know it will. Of course, I don't expect my future self will come knocking on the door with a VISA gift card, but the things I am learning will definitely help me in many ways.

And, it can also help You!

"How's that?" you ask? Well, because I'm learning all kinds of things in this group, from the coach as well as from the other members! I've joined it to help myself, yes, I'm human, and sometimes need a nudge, or heck, even a kick in the pants! The accountability, the support, the new strategies are inspiring, and welcome.

Currently, I am working toward putting together one or 2 groups that I will be leading as coach. Group coaching is very effective, and more affordable for folks who maybe can't afford a one-on-one programme. You not only have me as the coach, but also support from the other members of the group. There will be online group support with a private Facebook group page, where you can post questions, concerns, inspirations and support for others. Group time will be spent with each person having an opportunity to share, followed by a group activity or workshop, and will close with a homework assignment. Yes, homework! If you don't put into practice what you learn, your investment is wasted. Make the commitment to yourself to not just dole out the money, but to DOOOO EEEEET!

If you are interested in getting more information about a group coaching programme, click the "Contact" button at the top of the screen to send me a message. I'm looking into venues for face-to-face groups, as well as phone groups, so you won't even have to leave the comfort of your own pajamas! ;)  heck, I'll even let you show up to the face-to-face in your jammies if you want, it's a safe, non-judgemental space. What ever makes you comfortable. :)

How much is your health worth to you?
